	Gancheng Bridge Expansion
Product Description

Gancheng bridge is a main way to connect Tucheng District and Sanxia District cross Sanxia River. It is necessary to expand this bridge because of population growth and urban development in the nearby areas. We implemented BIM in this project to exam the spatial relations and feasibility of the complex traffic maintenance plan during the construction period.

This project particularly used 3D Laser Scanning technique to scan the actual environment on the site. The information is imported to the model to exam the construction procedure and the relation between new bridge and old bridge. The steel bars of the piers are simulated. The quantity is double checked with the quantity output from the model. The New Taipei City Hall is also affirmatively admire the outcome.
