It is located in Yingge District and is an untapped land for parks in urban planning. On the hills next to the site of the park there used to be one or two stores of ancient bells, a device used by the government to inform air strikes during the Japanese occupation. It is also a common memory of the older generation of Yingge people in the area. However, after the end of World War II, The warning function has disappeared and has instead become an expedition or nostalgia for locals. After the earthquake struck in 1991, due to the failure of long-term structural maintenance, there are only some brick columns relics. In keeping with the new public green spaces in Yingge District, provision of public planning, Gonger Park will be the history of nostalgia concept of the ancient bell tower park in the case of this case, and with the boardwalk and viewing platform cascade of ancient bell tower of the site, in addition to the Department of historical education components, will also be built related facilities to the public to become a leisurely park for parents and children.
