The project has a total length of 9.6km. It consists of 3.2km of embankment, 4.4km of bridges, 2.0km of tunnels, the design of interchange at Fengyuan, Dongshih and Shigang districts respectively. In order to highlight the local characteristics, the project has designed a 2 @ 120 prestressed concrete bridge to cross Dachia river which adopts a local legend for its shape. This project will not only provide a convenient access for mountain residents but it will also boost local business and tourism.
