This building stands on the intersection of Jen-Ai Road and Tun-Hua South Road in Taipei. It currently serves as the headquarters of the Taishin Bank. The west side of the site faces the Jen-Ai Circle, and the other 3 sides are bordered by roads. The steel structure is 26-storey high reaching the total height of 117.5 m. It has 6 underground levels for a total depth of 26.2 m. Lateral forces are resisted by a dual system of rigid moment frames and eccentrically braced frames. Fluid viscous dampers are added to each floor to help resist wind and earthquake forces. The design architects are PCF and Partners from the USA, and Haigo Shen and Partners from Taiwan. TYLIN is in charge of architectural and structural design works.
