	Design and Construction Supervision Service of Taichung Airport No.2 Runway
Product Description

Taichung Airport is Taiwan’s fourth largest airport and services for both commercial and military aviation operations. Increased demands due to booming tourism and trading activities prompted the Civil Aeronautics Administration, MOTC to improve the operation efficiency. T.Y. Lin International Taiwan was to provide design and construction supervision service to improve runway operation efficiency. Services to provide include the following activity:
1. New runway design based on standard code-D aircrafts.
2. Design with rigid pavement.
3. Drainage Engineering.
4. MEP and Airfield Ground Lighting System Planning.
5. Soil and Water Conservation Plan
The completion of the project seeks to increase runway capacity as well as shorten passenger waiting time, and is expected to be the milestone in the first stage of the Taichung Airport development, creating more potential in the airfield operation of central Taiwan.
