	Technical Services for Development Transfer Project of Southern Pingtung Airport
Product Description

Pingtung air force base currently contains two runways in the northern and southern region. To facilitate regional development and to reduce airside operation impacts towards the neighboring area, Airforce Team 439 proposed to transfer the southern airside operations to the northern region. In 2011, T.Y. Lin International Taiwan was commissioned to provide feasible airfield planning solutions as well as drainage engineering to enhance airport operation efficiency, living standard, at the same time maintain the routine practice for both air force and navy force. Service includes the following activities :
1. Runway G-20 Rehabilitation, two new-built runways, and AC shoulder.
2. Expansion of the south runway of northern region of the airport to an area of 16,827㎡.
3. Improve existing aprons with 35 cm of TH-650 psi flexural concrete.
4. Reallocate wind-breaking fort and establish new lighting facility.
5. Appurtenant facilities
