	Urban Reconsolidation for Overall Development of Unit 1-10 in Yuanlin, Changhua County
Product Description

The area originally belongs to Yuanlin agricultural area. In order to facilitate prosperous development, the 10 units of residential and public facilities are connected through a 30-meter circulation road. Because both sides of the circulation are adjacent to the old downtown and agricultural area, the demands of the people are diverse. To response to people’s demand in a prompt manner, the project adopted a turnkey type approach to design and construct. There were 310 petitions, 220 negotiation meetings, 46 construction quality 2nd-level supervision events, 59 supervising checks, 32 urban plan changes, and 12 residents supervising cases solved within project processing. The protest of farmers were settled by allowing continuous cultivation. The difficulties of constructing across Taiwan Railway were solved by means of technical skills. All efforts were made to overcome difficulties and harmoniously benefit from urban reconsolidation. The reconsolidation area is of 184.62 ha. The scope of work includes: design of site grading, roads, sewage and drainage, pipelines, transportation, ME lighting, landscape, etc. PCM scope of work includes: preliminary conceptual design, bidding strategy, turnkey tender assistance, design review & consultancy, construction supervision, assistance of completion acceptance and transfer, etc.
