	Taichung City Rezoning Project Phase 14th PCM
Product Description

The project base locates in the north of Taichung City, of Si-Zhang-Li traditional agricultural area, with a total dimension of 403 hectares. It was on the edge region of the urban development area. Due to the recent developed Zongte, Songchu, and Huanzhong Roads, then thus linking Daya, Tanzi and thenew opening Intercontinental Baseball Course, it has become an important entrance to Taichung City. However, along the main line, there are many temporary buildings and make the landscape of the city quite inconsistent. To improve the overall urban landscape, Taichung City Government decided to conbine existing three units as an detailed planning area and under the guideline of “Taichung Urban Plan”, reclassify according to the order-run as “14th Development Zone”, hence, thru holistic planning and assessment make the urban land reasonable utilization and efficiency.

The project area is with the features of urban and country. It used to be a traditional agricultural area, in recent years the area became the traffic arteries, the industrial and commercial activities increased rapidly, and the outsiders flocked into this area, it gradually developed into a mixed agricultural, industrial, residential and commercial area where with diversified landscape of old houses, water irrigation, countrified, trail and modern buildings. T. Y. Lin International Taiwan faces the issue of development and self-positioning, in addition to meet the demands on living and production, and to consider the ecological birth of life, to adopt special aesthetic creativity and lifestyle strategies to "Sustainable Green City Design" to fit the diversed needs of landscape, ecology and engineering. The overall planning for the regional landscape, the waterway surrounded agricultural land, will create a breathing, ventilation, recycled environment, make this community an easy, comfortable and aesthetic green land with rich atmosphere of culture, history, and characteristic features of the land.
