	Taitung Veterans Hospital Relocated to Malan Project

In order to improve the medical resources for eastern region of Taiwan and overcome the bottleneck of at the Taitung’s branch Veterans Hospital, The Veterans Hospital, The Veterans Affairs Council, and The Executive Yuan have decided to adopt from western countries the system of combining health care institutions with medical units. In such respect, The MaLan Veterans Home and Taitung‘s branch Veterans Hospital are combined to take care of veterans closely. Phase I : Construction of a comprehensive medical building (RC, 1 basement & 4 floors, including 10 treatment rooms, emergency room, ICU, 100-bed wards, a 15-bed dialysis room, HEPA 1000 equipped operating rooms), sewage treatment plants, pathology dissection rooms, parking lots, landscape and related annex facilities, with site area of 2.1 hectares and total floor area of 10000 ㎡. Phase II : Interior renovation to dormitory after old medical building is relocated (1 basement, 4 floors), parking lots, landscape works, etc. PCM scope of works include : 1. Client requirements Integration, preliminary planning 2. Bidding Strategy Development and Tender Assistance of Design-build Tender 3. Design Review & Consultancy 4. Construction Supervision, Assistance of Construction Acceptance, etc.
