The Tamkang Bridge is located at the river mouth of the Tamsui River. After completion, the traffic between Bali and Tamsui will not need to go through Guandu Bridge where the distance of 15 km would be shortened, smoothing the northern coastal highway system. In order to introduce foreign concepts, international teams are invited to participate in the design of the 3rd Lot (main bridge section). It is expect that the project will be completed in good quality, as scheduled, and meet the requirements of the EIA. Ideally, the Tamkang Bridge will become the new landmark of both north Taiwan and the world.
