	Beigang Matsu Bridge Design and Construction Supervision
Product Description

The project starts from Beigang Township in Yunlin, across Beigang River to connect with Tai-19 in Chiayi County. It has a total length of 5,270m of which 4,015m are at-grade (include bridge approach) and 1,255m are across the river. With just a single-tower (Extradosed Bridge), it is the first of its kind in Taiwan. The bridge adopted cast-in-place Free Cantilever construction method with 2@125m continuous spans layout. The bridge combines sophisticated engineering concepts with landscaping design techniques. The tower is intended to resemble a Mazu hat and thus express the local culture of the city. The bridge was named by both Yulin and Chiayi counties as the "Matsu Bridge."
