McArthur No. 2 Bridge is the first "Neilson Arch" type bridge in Taiwan as well as the largest single span (210m) arch bridge in Taiwan. The bridge crosses over the keelung River with skew angle of 40, connected with Neihu, Nangang and Songshan District in Taipei City. The bridge deck is 16m wide for 2 lane traffic in each direction. Main girders are prestressed to reduce fatigue effect. The arch height is 35m and height to span ratio is 1:6. The elegant and appealing exterior configuration makes the bridge a remarkable landmark in the neighborhood.
