On January 24, 2024 T.Y.LIN Taiwan- Green Energy and Facility (GEF) Manager -Pete Chou and Dr. Frank Lin accompanied with Ørsted Taiwan client Jimmy Lin, Dang Han Nguyen- representative of DNV, and Ho Anh Dong, representative of SGS Taiwan, to Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) in Vietnam to conduct the WTG foundation inspection of the offshore turbine for Ørsted Taiwan-the Greater Changhua 2b & 4 offshore wind farm.

In line with Taiwan's energy transition policy, we actively seeks to cooperate with potential European developers or design firms to provide design review & engineering services and gradually localize offshore wind design capabilities and resources. T.Y.LIN undertook the design, manufacture and installation technician verification for the second phase of the Greater Changhua 2b & 4 offshore wind farm project by Ørsted and installed 920MW capacity. Ørsted and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) have signed a corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA). TSMC will purchase the green engergy from Ørsted’s 920MW Greater Changhua 2b & 4 offshore wind farm, making it the largest-ever contract of renewable energy in these years. TSMC demonstrates its long-term commitment to environmental sustainability.
