Hailong Offshore Wind Project developer held a topping-out ceremony for the onshore substation at the Changhua Binhai Industrial Zone in Changhua County dated November 8, 2023. GEF manager, Pete Tsou lead team to attend this event.

This wind farm project is joint venture developed by Northland Power Inc. (Canada), Yushan Energy (Singapore), Mitsui & Co. (Japan) with a total installed capacity of 1044 MW, and the largest single offshore wind power development project in Taiwan after its official commissioning. TY Lin Taiwan is acting as the Owner's Engineer services for the Hailong project including for design review and construction quality inspection. It is expected to begin generating wind power in the first quarter of year 2025, which provide electricity to accommodate more than one million households in Taiwan.
